Peter Jones MBE presents: International Professional Accreditation: The process, what makes a good application and how it ‘adds value’ to your course profile.

Key outcomes will be an understanding of professional accreditation, the nature of the process and how professional accreditation adds value to course profiles. It will also highlight aspects of good practice for applications and tips of dos and don’ts to make the process easier for the applicant and for the professional reviewers.

About Peter Jones

Chair of the Institute of Hospitality professional review panel, Peter has held a number of senior academic appointments at Bournemouth University and the University of West London, as well as being the project director for the development of the Edge Hotel School at the University of Essex and the Chief Executive and Principal of the Blue Mountains Hotel School in Australia.

He has worked internationally with governments as well as institutions on a wide range of hospitality and tourism education developments including new hotel schools, accreditation systems, and curriculum development. He was made Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his contribution to the hospitality industry.
