École de Savignac appoint Cyril Lanrezac as new Director

École de Savignac is delighted to announce the appointment of Cyril LANREZAC as its new Director.

Cyril brings significant leadership and experience to the directorship, having worked in hospitality business and leisure establishments for over twenty years in Cuba, Portugal, London and Paris. He then served as co-director of the MBA in Hospitality Management (IMHI) at ESSEC Business School, from which he is also a graduate, before managing the Écoles DUCASSE network of cooking and pastry schools. Prior to joining Savignac, Cyril was acting director of programmes and student experience at the Paris School of Business.

The arrival of Cyril highlights the strong ambitions of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Dordogne, which founded and administers École de Savignac. While he intends to maintain the intricacies that make Savignac so unique, Cyril will endeavour to strengthen its domestic and international presence.

Cyril has also demonstrated a commitment to consolidate and build on our strong record of pedagogy “made in Savignac” through innovative curriculum development and experiential learning. “The health crisis has revealed the benefits but also the limits of distant learning, and while Savignac intends to continue using digital learning resources available, it will do so by fostering positive teacher-student relationships. Our credo will always be quality rather than quantity.”

Our director’s experience together with his ability at identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and leading initiatives, will help hone on Savignac’s past success and guarantee an exciting future.

Please join us in welcoming Cyril Lanrezac as we continue to work toward a continued cooperation.
