Remembering Martin Kisseleff: A Founding Member of EuroCHRIE
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Martin Kisseleff on June 29, 2025, at the age of 72. Martin, a cherished Founder Member of EuroCHRIE, had been suffering from a long-term illness and passed away surrounded by his loving family.
Martin Kisseleff dedicated many years of his professional career to César Ritz Colleges, serving in various roles until his retirement in 2011, when he held the position of Owner and President. His unwavering commitment, leadership, and dedication have left an enduring legacy within our community and beyond.
A true visionary, Martin Kisseleff, alongside César Ritz Colleges, was instrumental in the founding of EuroCHRIE in 1992 in Montreux. He was a long-term and ardent supporter of the federation and was immensely proud to host the 2001 EuroCHRIE conference at César Ritz Colleges in Brig. His contributions were pivotal in shaping the landscape of hospitality education in Europe. Mr. Kisseleff will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Marianne; his children, Tanja and Marcel, and their spouses; his four grandchildren; as well as his extended family, colleagues, friends, and alumni across the globe.
