The conference theme, ‘Be Inspired’, aimed to follow Irish traditions by assembling scholars and practitioners from around the globe to share their expert hospitality and tourism knowledge and experience in a conference that showcased exceptional research and engendered critical debate.

The conference gave both educators, professionals from the industry, and students an opportunity to get together during a three-and-a-half-day long event, which placed emphasis on the mutual relationship between Education and Industry. Academic excellence in combination with work-integrated learning and applied and transfer oriented research was the main focus.
Delegates were treated to an abundance of Irish hospitality with students taking a central role in all the activities. An Irish Hooley was celebrated and a spectacular Gala dinner at the Guinness Storehouse

#EuroCHRIE21 takes place 27-30 September 2021 in Aalborg, Denmark in the Comwell ‘Hvide Hus’ Hotel.
For many years, Hotel Comwell Hvide Hus has been a well-known landmark for Aalborg, both architecturally and as one of the region’s top hotels. Comwell Hotels was awarded Denmark’s most sustainable hotel chain, and holds the Danish ecological bronze brand.
