Nominate a Colleague in the 2023 EuroCHRIE Awards

It’s that time of year when we ask EuroCHRIE members if they wish to nominate any colleagues for the following awards:

The EuroCHRIE President’s Award 2023

The EuroCHRIE Presidents Award is the highest individual recognition a member of EuroCHRIE may receive. It is presented to a EuroCHRIE member in recognition of the individual’s lifetime contributions and outstanding service both to hospitality and tourism education and the EuroCHRIE Federation.

“Bridging the Gap” Award 2023

– in recognition of significant contributions related to bridging the gap between academia and industry

This Award honours a professional who has worked to build closer cooperation between academia and industry in relation to training, research and development in hospitality and tourism education. The recipient will normally be a EuroCHRIE member.

Other awards that will be presented include:

Institut Lyfe Research Award
The award will commend an individual piece of research, submitted to the 2023 EuroCHRIE conference, that has made a significant contribution to our industry and to education.
EuroCHRIE Best Poster Award
The award is given to a superior research poster presented at the EuroCHRIE 2023 conference.
EuroCHRIE University Challenge 2023 Award (sponsored by Russell Partnership Technology)
At the conclusion of the competition, it was the team from University of Rijeka who were the winners, with second place going to Budapest Business School.

The 2023 Awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner in Vienna. It will be hosted by Peter Russell – Immediate Past President EuroCHRIE.

Nominations can be submitted below – the form must be sent no later than 21st August 2023.
