Important announcement regarding the 2020 Annual ICHRIE Conference

For safety reasons, and with the full support of our Board of Directors, International CHRIE has postponed the Phoenix conference that was to be held in July 2020.

The annual conference will reconvene in Washington DC in 2021, our DIAMOND anniversary.

I know that our members, colleagues, and friends look forward to the networking and learning opportunities this conference offers every year. We must thank Alleah Crawford and her conference committee for planning what was to be a spectacular conference in Phoenix. Virtual events are being explored to benefit members in areas of research, networking / special interest groups (SIGs), and federation governance. To that end, the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Federations will be planning virtual meetings and activities this summer.

Information on all of these activities will be forthcoming.

The Annual Business Meeting will be held August 29, at noon eastern time.
The transition of officers will be held on July 23, 2020.

Finally, and most importantly, I want to remind everyone that the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of International CHRIE will be held in Washington, D.C. in July of 2021.
