Susan Fournier wins EuroCHRIE Presidents Award

The President’s Award is the highest individual recognition a member of EuroCHRIE may receive. It is presented to a EuroCHRIE member in recognition of the individual’s lifetime contributions and outstanding service both to hospitality and tourism education and the EuroCHRIE Federation.

This year we are pleased to announce that the 2022 EuroCHRIE Presidents Award goes to Susan Fournier

Susan Fournier served as President of I-CHRIE in 2011- 2012, during her 3-year tenure as I-CHRIE Executive Board Member, she worked to develop each federation and strengthen the brand to fulfill the vision of excellence in education and training for the hospitality and tourism sector worldwide. She also served on the ACPHA-CAHM accreditation board from 2005-2008. She has been a long-standing member of EuroCHRIE and previously served on the Board as Director of Conferences and Networking, assisting the conference organizers with the procedures of hosting the organization’s major yearly event. She was also the EuroCHRIE Director of Membership and later served as the Area Consultant for Switzerland.

Susan as always is supported by her husband Herve who was also a key member of building EuroCHRIE. Susan is now retired but is still remains a member of EuroCHRIE.

Susan is recognised for a lifetime’s contribution and outstanding service both to hospitality and tourism education and the EuroCHRIE Federation.
