Nominate a colleague in the 2020 EuroCHRIE Awards

It’s that time of year when we ask EuroCHRIE members if they wish to nominate any colleagues for the following awards:

The EuroCHRIE President’s Award 2020

The EuroCHRIE Presidents Award is the highest individual recognition a member of EuroCHRIE may receive. It is presented to a EuroCHRIE member in recognition of the individual’s lifetime contributions and outstanding service both to hospitality and tourism education and the EuroCHRIE Federation.

“Bridging the Gap” Award 2020

– in recognition of significant contributions related to bridging the gap between academia and industry

This Award honours a professional who has worked to build closer cooperation between academia and industry in relation to training, research and development in hospitality and tourism education. The recipient will normally be a EuroCHRIE member.

Best PhD Student Paper Award 2020

The 2020 Best PhD Student Paper Award. This award is given to a superior research paper submitted by a PhD student. The student should be an associate of a EuroCHRIE member school.

The 2020 Awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner in Aalborg. It will be hosted by Chrystel Masdupuy – Immediate Past President EuroCHRIE.

Nominations should be sent to with a supporting letter to Chrystel Masdupuy at c.masdupuy@ecole-de-savignac.com by no later than 31st August 2020.
