EuroCHRIE Interactive Session: How to teach and facilitate effectively online – Peter Russell

This session will begin with a short session where Peter will share some best practices on how to teach and facilitate effectively online. This will include how to utilise online technologies to achieve this and will also examine methodologies for working collaboratively in an online context. The session will then move to an interactive round table style format where all attendees will have the opportunity to participate and give their views on this topic. This will be a useful session during this time when all of us are moving rapidly online with our teaching and learning.

EuroCHRIE Interactive Session for School Administrators – How to quickly change the semester teaching schedule to an online format – Florian Hummel

This session is aimed at anyone working in senior administrative roles or school management who has seen or is facing challenges in terms of switching a fully planned (or to be planned) semester teaching schedule to on online format. The session will draw on past experiences with a lot of past trial and error and will give very practical information and guidelines on how a full semester can quickly be moved to a viable online format with no to as little planning disruption as possible. At the end of the session the participants will be able to mirror their schedules from classroom based teaching to online based teaching with approx. 2 days of administrative work.
