Maggie Feng to leave role as Director of Conferencing and Networking
It is with regret that we have to say goodbye to Maggie Feng as our Director of Conferencing and Networking. Maggie was elected to this position in 2019 and before that was the area consultant for Benelux. Maggie is a Member of the Board of the Wittenborg University Executive and is CEO at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in Apeldoorn (Headquarter), the Netherlands.
She attended her first EuroCHRIE conference in October 2013 in Freiburg, Germany and after this her institute soon became one of our members. Maggie has always thrown herself completely into everything that she has done at EuroCHRIE, with the 38th conference in Apeldoorn 2022 being no exception.
Maggie has been a very active member of the EuroCHRIE Board and not only led the development of a conference website that will serve as a template for future conferences but also set up a EuroCHRIE Foundation. She streamlined the conference bidding process and leaves a fantastic legacy for future conference hosts. She will be sadly missed.
As CEO, Maggie Feng is responsible for Erasmus+ Projects, Event, Public Relations, Campus Development, Human Resource, Communication, internal Quality Assurance, and Student Support. She is an all-rounder in management and is proud to be business-like and practical oriented with focus on the long-term vision. Maggie is determined to lead Wittenborg to become a top-ranking institute to contribute to Human Capital & Talent development.
As CEO and an active member of the Apeldoorn community she is now taking on a community role and therefore we must bid her farewell on the Board but not farewell to EuroCHRIE. We hope that she and Wittenberg will remain long standing members and hope to see her in Vienna in 2023 at the 39th EuroCHRIE conference.
Good luck Maggie and thank you.
