Rai Shacklock became a member of ICHRIE in 1990 and was a founding member of EuroCHRIE. She joined the newly formed EuroCHRIE Board as an Area Consultant and has been EuroCHRIE Director of Membership and President. In 2003 she was elected International CHRIE President and was the first native European to hold this honour.
