Perunjodi Naidoo, known as Jodi, is an Associate Professor at the School of Sustainable Development and Tourism at the University of Technology, Mauritius. She has been a dedicated member of the university since 2002, earning her PhD in 2014. In 2015, she furthered her research as a postdoctoral scholar at James Cook University in Australia.

Jodi teaches tourism marketing, sustainable tourism, and outdoor recreation at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests focus on tourism development in small islands and developing countries, the well-being of destination communities, tourism in emerging markets, sustainable tourism practices, and enhancing the customer experience.
