Mr. Al Rumaihi has over 17 years of experience in program and strategy in senior roles across several industries including sports, media, culture, real estate, and education. He is highly skilled in organizational change and has achieved outstanding results using his unique leadership skills.
His professional journey started with the Doha 2006 Asian Games Organizing Committee where he played a vital role in successfully planning and integrating events. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Museums Development Manager at Msheireb Properties where he led the development, strategic direction, experience design, and activation of the four important historical sites located in the district. Subsequently, Mr. Al Rumaihi was the Director of Brand Marketing and Communication at Al Jazeera Media Network, during which time he successfully developed and executed the commercial and transformational strategy for the television network. Mr. Al Rumaihi later served at the Qatar Prime Minister’s Office on the Technical Committee for Stimulating Participation of the Private Sector in Economic Development Projects, in addition to holding the position of Director of Programs at the Qatar Leadership Center.
From 2020 until his current role, Mr. Al Rumaihi notably served as one of the active members of the Supreme Committee preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. His functions included: Secretary of the Steering Committee for Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Vice Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Office for Consultation and Follow-up for His Highness the Vice Chair of the Supreme Committee, and Chairman of the Hayya Platform Steering Committee. In these multiple roles, he contributed to the successful execution of the premier international event.
Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and a master’s degree in business administration from Cardiff University.
