The EuroCHRIE team highly recommends going to either the well-known restaurants “Figlmüller” or “Plachutta,” which are both located in the city center of Vienna and can easily be reached by public transport!
“Figlmüller” is considered one of the most famous restaurants for Wiener Schnitzel in Vienna and is known for its crispy and generously sized Schnitzels. While “Plachutta” is originally popular for its “Tafelspitz,” it also serves excellent Schnitzel in various variations!

While Florian Aubke, EuroCHRIE’s conference chair, highly favors “Meissl & Schadn,” our project coordinator Daniela Wagner suggests visiting “Schnitzelwirt” in the 7th district since they have many Schnitzel variations and huge portions.
