Elizabeth M. Ineson is a Visiting Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University and, since 1997, Visiting Professor in Hungary, then Switzerland and Taiwan; she is a fellow of the IoH and the ITT.
In 1999, Liz won the EuroCHRIE President’s award and she served on the EuroCHRIE Board from 2012-2017, latterly as Director of Research. Liz has always focussed on experiential/action learning to underpin course development, alongside collaborative applied research and consultancy through industrial links. For over 20 years, she has organised a team of international academics, to deliver industry/education management development seminars in CEE for the charitable trust, La fondation pour la formation hôtelière. Furthermore, Liz has led >120 research projects and seminars for European companies, contributed to >280 publications, >50 refereed journal papers, conference contributions, short courses, seminars and reports. Since 2009, she has co-edited 15 case study books for teaching and training, available online, free of charge.
