ICHRIE Launches New Networking Initiative to Engage with New Members

At ICHRIE, we are continuously looking for creative ways to reach out to our members. Thus, the Networking Committee worked hard on developing a new initiative aimed at our newer ICHRIE family members to showcase what we in ICHRIE have to offer.

Starting on February, 02, 2021, at 10:00 US Eastern Time, we held a one hour-long ICHRIE for Newbies Zoom Event in each of our six Federations around the World. New members were invited to showcase their own institution and to prepare a snack and beverage during the events. Using breakout rooms and a quiz new members were encouraged to get to know each other, their Federations, upcoming events and ICHRIE. We also introduced our new members to the ‘ICHRIE Buddy’ concept – new members are partnered with an existing members to help them make more of their membership. These pictures provide testament to the great success of this Newbie event, which we hope will be a regular feature in the future. This event would not have been possible without the close collaboration between the Networking Committee and the Federations.

In June 2021, we will have a rerun of our hugely successful ICHRIE Zoom Around the World for all members to allow us to meet, network and share a few laughs together.
